Moms are the unsung heroes of everyday life. They juggle a million responsibilities, often without recognition, pouring love into their families while putting their own needs on the back burner. Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, a single mom, or a mom struggling to find balance, there’s one truth that unites us all: motherhood is hard, and sometimes, all we need is a little validation.
That’s why we’re launching Letters to Moms, a heartfelt campaign dedicated to lifting each other up through words of love, encouragement, and shared experiences.
Why Moms Deserve to Be Seen and Heard
We live in a world where moms are constantly expected to be everything to everyone. The loving nurturer, the patient teacher, the selfless caregiver, the tireless worker, the perfect homemaker. Yet, despite wearing all these hats, society often overlooks the emotional, mental, and physical labor that comes with being a mom.
- The Stay-at-Home Mom is told she’s “lucky” to be home, but no one sees the invisible load of managing a household, the mental exhaustion of never having a break, and the guilt of wondering if she’s doing enough.
- The Working Mom is admired for “having it all,” yet she constantly battles the guilt of not being present enough at home or at work.
- The Single Mom is a warrior, doing the job of two parents, but she’s often met with pity instead of recognition for her strength.
- The Mom of a Child with Special Needs is seen as a superhero, yet she still feels unseen in her own struggles.
- The Mom of Many Kids hears, “You’ve got your hands full!” while silently wondering when she’ll ever have time for herself.
- The First-Time Mom is bombarded with advice and judgment but is just trying to survive, one sleepless night at a time.
- The Mom Who’s Struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, or burnout is told to “enjoy every moment” when all she really needs is someone to say, “It’s okay to not be okay.”
No matter what kind of mom you are, you are doing enough. You are worthy. And you deserve to be celebrated.
What is the Letters to Moms Campaign?
We believe in the power of words. A few kind sentences can turn someone’s entire day around, remind them of their worth, and let them know they’re not alone.
The Letters to Moms campaign is an open invitation to share a heartfelt letter; whether it’s to yourself, your own mom, a mom friend who inspires you, or to mothers everywhere. This is your chance to pour out the love, wisdom, and encouragement that every mom deserves to hear.
Your letter could be:
✨ A note to your younger self about what you wish you knew before becoming a mom.
✨ A letter to your own mother; whether it’s one of gratitude, forgiveness, or love.
✨ Words of encouragement to a mom who’s struggling, reminding her she’s not alone.
✨ A love letter to yourself, because YOU deserve to hear kind words, too.
We will feature selected letters throughout May as part of our Moms in Macaroni KID Franklin-Milford-E Blackstone Valley celebration leading up to Mother’s Day!

Let’s Lift Each Other Up
Motherhood is tough, but it’s also beautiful. It’s messy, but it’s full of love. And most of all, it’s a journey we don’t have to walk alone.
So take a moment to reflect. Who in your life needs to hear that they’re doing a great job? Maybe it’s your best friend who’s barely keeping it together. Maybe it’s your own mother, who never got the appreciation she deserved. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s you.
Send a letter. Share your story. Be the reason a mom smiles today.
Join us in celebrating moms this May - one letter at a time. 💌
