On Monday night my son (4yo) asked if we could go to a "new park". Between the rain and the craziness that is summer, we have not had the opportunity to go in a while. So I quickly looked at my list of parks and he chose this quaint little playground in Grafton. We arrived around 5:30pm and I immediately noticed that there was more than just the playground. There was a small group of kids playing basketball   , a woman walking her dogs (leashed)   in the open field and past the field was a fenced-in baseball field   with some seating. Not long after we parked, another family arrived to play on the playground.

The playground itself is completely fenced in and a good distance from the street but shares the backside with a neighboring home's backyard.  The actual square-footage of the playground is fairly large and could benefit from adding another piece of equipment. With only one small climbing structure and one set of swings, my son was pretty bored fast. We stayed in the playground for about 15 mins before he asked to go for a walk. Certainly a playground built for much younger kids.

The base of the playground is the large wooden mulch and rubber mat paths. Could use a refresh as there were some areas that were bare.
