If you have not had the heart (no pun intended) to discard your Christmas Kissing Ball because it still looks healthy, you could quickly turn it into a ‘recycled’ Valentine’s decoration.
I simply pulled out the pine cones and holiday baubles from my ‘expired’ decoration, and inserted a few picks and heart ornaments that I picked up at the local craft store. I probably could have re-purposed some Christmas ornaments, if I had not already packed them away!
If your ball is in a covered space, you may want to try having your kids make construction paper hearts and cupids to embellish yours.
If it is still looking green after V-Day, perhaps it could evolve into a “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” kissing ball!
